I work with kilns of different shapes and sizes.
All my pots are fired entirely with split-wood.

Anagama-fired Pots
My 'anagama' is fired up around 1250c°.   Each firing requires very slow continuous heating up and cooling down.   Depending on the weather, one firing usually takes 6 - 8 days and whole process may take over 2 weeks from start to finish.  'Anagama' fired pots are sturdy enough to be left outdoors in frosty winter.

Raku Tea Bowls
'Raku' was invented over 400 years ago in feudal Japan.  It was specifically designed to make rustic tea bowls.  Tea bowls are fired at around 950c° in my smaller kiln.  Firing in a small 'raku' kiln at this low temperature gives delightful softness to the glazes.

All pots are FOR SALE but all in the gallery have been SOLD.
I only have a few pieces in stock until my next firing.  Please contact me for enquiries.
